Growing up in the Church in New Orleans, Louisiana, Lucky Daye was inundated with music, where he discovered his passion and talent for singing. He immersed himself in the world of R&B and eventually moved to Atlanta to pursue music. Now, at 38 years old, Lucky Daye has established himself as a multi-faceted force in the music business. He is a credited songwriter for many artists, most notably Beyonce and Mary J. Blige, receiving two nominations for Album of the Year for both Beyoncé‘s Renaissance and Mary J. Blige‘s Good Morning Gorgeous albums as a co-writer at the 2023 Grammy Awards. His songwriting talents and his soulful tenor voice are highlighted in his 2019 debut album, Painted, as well as his award-winning EPs.
